This authentic Laguiole cutlery, masterfully crafted from high grade 18/10 stainless steel, is stamped, ground and then polished. Each handle features the trademark 'bee', reinforced stainless steel bolsters, five-rivet construction and reinforced handles made from polyproylene resin for extra durability and maintenance free use. Laguiole is the name given to the style of cutlery manufactured in the Aveyron region of Southern France bearing the signature bee. The original pocket knife design dates from the early 19th Century, based on a farmer's knife from the Laguiole village.
